About
Mark Sanford Gross
Mark is a celebrated creative writing coach and community leader, and lives in Anchor Bay, California. Mark's love for writing and community led him to establish KGUAWriters, a local radio program fostering creative expression during the Covid-19 lockdown. He also conducts workshops at various local venues, instilling the power of written and spoken word in others. His writing workshops are designed to help writers including beginners find their hidden stories through a layered process of writing exercises. His enthusiasm and energy quickly fill the room.
His educational background includes degrees in English Literature, Management, and Creative Writing from Fairleigh Dickinson, Marymount, and Johns Hopkins University, respectively. Professionally, he served in the radio industry and at The Washington Post for over three decades.
